Adobe Summit has almost 300 sessions split over a 3-day period. Yes, there is almost 100 sessions a day. In this post, I want to highlight the sessions for the audience interested in seeing how the Experience Cloud operates all together as an Integrated System. It has been almost a year since Adobe announced the birth of a whole new set of clouds: Experience Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Advertising Cloud. I am looking forward to hearing about the success that clients had interacting with these clouds and the integrated tools. I picked 5 of my top favorite multi-solution sessions:

1. S612 – Accelerate your mobile and web experiences using Adobe I/O

Adobe I/O is still a very new concept and I don’t think many clients have understood fully how to use it. That being said, many clients we work with always asked for the ability to access their data via APIs so I think Adobe I/O is a big contender here. Here is why I recommend this session:

  • Get to know about the new Adobe APIs
  • How Analytics Triggers, Adobe Campaign and Microsoft Dynamics integrate together
  • Stitching Mobile and Web Experiences

The session is on Wednesday at 2:30 PM.

2. SS1 – Audiences without boundaries across media and entertainment

A super session concentrating on the Media and Entertainment vertical. Here is why I am excited for this one:

  • Media Giants on the panel from NBC, Sprint and Dish
  • Advanced TV Advertising, I want to hear the success stories about how personalized and programmatic advertising is coming to TV
  • Get to hear it from the clients on their Ups and Downs experiences in this advanced initiative

The session is on Thursday at 9 am.

3. S601 – Amazing True Stories of Digital Transformation from Top Brands

So many good buzzwords in this session: Amazing, True Stories, Transformation and Top Brands. It gets better, here is why this session is going to be great:

  • Dave Bilbrough, a stellar Enterprise Architect and Innovator who I learned a lot from, will be presenting this session
  • Topic is in high demand, get to know how other clients (Southwest, Verizon and Dominos) successfully endured their transformation journey
  • Architect’s insight on the best practices for creating the amazing experiences for your consumers

This session is on Thursday at 9:30 am.

4. SS4 – Creating experiences that connect in financial services

Another super session but this time concentrating on the financial services vertical. Here is why I am recommending this session:

  • Jared Lees, Industry Strategy Lead for financial services at Adobe, along with client representations from CIBC and Vanguard will be in this session
  • Hear about how clients in this vertical are able to stitch a customer journey and generate personalized experiences
  • Learn how strict organizations, such as banks, leverage identity management while staying within privacy guidelines

This session is on Thursday at 9:00 am.

5. S123 – Super segments: Level-up with third-party data in Analysis Workspace

The ability of leveraging 3rd party data within Analysis Workspace is by far one of the coolest things that Adobe enabled this past year. It is a game changer when it comes to analytics. I am very excited for this session:

  • Nate Smith, from Analytics Cloud, will be presenting this session. I watched him present last year before my session and I was truly entertained
  • Learn how to get 3rd party data into Analysis Workspace and then what to do it when it is there
  • Listen to some use cases leveraging this feature to elevate your segmentation practice leading to a stronger activation strategy

This session is on Thursday at 11 am.

Here is the comprehensive list:

Thursday SS4 – Creating experiences that connect in financial services 9 am
