Tags (formerly Adobe Launch) is shaping up to be a be a topic that everyone will be talking about at Adobe Summit this year. Last year it made a lot of buzz but now the excitement has died down and organizations are using it and getting in the weeds. No doubt they will be bringing the questions and seeking best recommendations.
The eventual sunsetting of DTM has a lot of organizations in the process of or thinking about the migration to Tags. There are (at least) 25+ sessions that are directly or indirectly related to Tags. I want to share with you the ones I’m most excited about.

I’ve organized these sessions into various groups based on needs, audience and complexity

Migrating from DTM to Tags

Are you going to be upgrading from DTM to Tags? You don’t want to miss this one.

S608 – Upgrade from DTM to Adobe Experience Platform Tags

SPEAKERS
Ben Robison, Principal Product Manager, Adobe
Ed Hewett, Director, Digital & Marketing Analytics Technology, Hilton

This session looks to be a good overview of the process and decision points but likely won’t go into a lot of technical details. Stay tuned for a future blog post about topic!

Beginner/Intermediate

Do you have a little experience with DTM/Tags but want to level up? Check out some of these.

S135 – Tagsing into the Stratosphere: Implementation Tips for Tags

S617 – Adobe Experience Platform Tags for Native Mobile Apps

SPEAKERS
Ivan Mironchuk, Sr. Product Manager, Mobile, Adobe

That’s right, Tags is now a part of native mobile app implementations. This session looks to cover the basics but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be simple. I’ve done this for a few clients, and it can be tricky!

Hype

Hype isn’t always a bad thing. It can fun to see new features and get excited about what’s to come.

S610 – Adobe Experience Platform Tags: Extension Idol
