We got an invite early December 2018 to attend the Adobe Experience League Community Meetup in Greater Noida. Softcrylic wanted to participate in the meet up to understand the new features and best practices within the Adobe Experience Cloud with products such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Target. The schedule also covered a few sessions on Adobe Experience Manager to facilitate content to support digital marketing faster than ever before.

The digital analytics team at Softcrylic decided to attend the event that was scheduled on 12/7/2018 at Adobe office in Noida. We attended the event and met Adobe product consultants, partners and product managers.

Here are the top takeaways from The Adobe Meetup:

Adobe Sensei

Adobe Experience Manager was a talking point around the digital analytics and marketing industry. Adobe highlighted some of the key features that may help us to work better, smarter, and faster by using the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning framework.

Adobe Sensei has been is a suite of robust tool that will reduce your work to a few minutes or seconds rather than spending hours or days to create personalized content for your users.

Adobe Sensei will give you more leverage to push your campaigns further to the digital channels.

Adobe Analytics and Adobe Campaign Integration

Adobe recommended us to use the Adobe Analytics integration with Adobe Campaigns to do real time remarketing through emails. This integration will give more control over the campaigns data in Adobe Analytics.

Adobe brought a lot of additional features that gives us a smarter way to build emails by using the templates offered to fasten our email marketing campaigns with better tracking system.

Adobe uses machine learning technology to help the marketer to create, distribute, and assess the campaigns. We can see campaign data with default campaign dimensions and metrics under the Adobe Analytics workspace. This is one of the features that Google has been implementing under Google Analytics to see the Google ad campaign data with default campaign dimension and metrics.

Although both Google and Adobe work in similar fashions, but Adobe raised the bar with a lot of features that go above and beyond what we envisioned while we work with marketing campaigns and analytics.

Analysis Workspace

Unfortunately, the sunset for ad hoc analytics tool will be around April or May of 2019. The tool has not seen new features since August 2018. Adobe encourages everyone to move to leveraging Analysis Workspace that has similar functionalities with better features. Ex: Virtual Report Suites, Campaign Data Reports, Server Usage reports.

Adobe consultants] showed a few demos on Adobe campaigns, Adobe campaigns with Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Community for troubleshooting when we encounter problems.

As we are aware that there are a lot of in-built templates to create reports in workspace to interpret data for difference needs, the Adobe presenter showcased the way to use them for reporting needs.

Adobe Target and Adobe Experience Manager Integration

The Adobe meet-up covered best practices by integrating Adobe Target with Adobe Experience Manager. You have the ability to target different content with different offers. This can be done within Adobe Experience Manager where users don’t need to use multiple tools. It will be a one-stop shop to create content, run A/B tests and personalized content.

It was a great day at Adobe office at Noida, we are really looking forward to seeing more such events to get the update on recent technologies that adobe is currently working towards in the MarTech and AdTech space.
