This year’s Adobe Summit is set to be both exciting and informative!  Virtual is still the standard operation procedure for large conferences in a Covid world. While it’s unfortunate Summit is not in-person again this year, by being Virtual many more people not used to Adobe products may likely register for sessions this time. Two of our Sr. Consultants, Amber Taylor, and Kyle Hicks, who spend most of their time with non-Adobe products list below what the top sessions they are looking forward to attending.

S320 – Build a Future-Proof Strategy for Data Management

The topic of data collection, user privacy, and how it impacts digital analytics is always on my mind. I’m eager to jump at any opportunity to learn more. Expertise in this topic applies to all analytics platforms and is vital to keeping up with our global society’s evolving relationship with data. Some key points I’m excited for include:

  • Motivations behind the changes we are seeing recently to cookies and mobile advertising IDs
  • How can we apply lessons learned from specific marketing use cases that tackle these issues?

E126 – Google Analytics to the Next Level with Customer Journey Analytics

A Google Analytics-focused session at Adobe Summit? This feels like bait, but I’m okay with that. There is a lot of potential when competing platforms offer tools and services that work across enemy lines. I’m curious to learn more about Customer Journey Analytics and how it can:

  • Bring together analytics data from Google Analytics 360, Firebase, and other sources to provide views into the complete customer journey
  • Tie analytics events back to actions logged in your CRM
  • Better attribute behavior and conversions from cross-platform data

E176 – The Conversation Jackpot: Enabling Real-Time Data for Success

Some of my favorite past sessions are those that lean heavily on real-world use cases. In this block, we get to learn more about how a big name Italian gambling provider leveraged real-time data to deliver personalized experiences to its customers. While this session focuses on the Adobe stack, its principles can be applied to other analytics/business cloud platforms. Several of the planned takeaways include:

  • Insight into real-time customer profiles that can help drive future business initiatives
  • How to provide a unified solution that instills customer confidence while managing data privacy and security
  • Stitching together online and offline data that adapts to customer behavior

Each touchpoint is an opportunity to connect with your customer and build value. • Data-activation capabilities are as important as having a 360º view of the customer and predictive and customer analytics capabilities

With, third-party cookies on the chopping block, brands will need to shift their data strategies to stay relevant in a cookieless world.
